Walking a Maze

Those who want to live an alternate lifestyle will be drawn to this community. The community and our goals are appropriate for anyone - young people, older adults, singles, families. Young adults may find it is an alternative to college or it may be a pre-college experience. It can help them find meaning in their lives and to pursue a livelihood that is fulfilling and suited to them.

There is also a day program for youth ages 5-18.

How We Live Together

Community life is a rich brew, deriving its flavor from the various ingredients that infuse it. Not only the individual ingredients, but how they meld together, or contrast with one another determines the sensations, activities, dynamics of the group. Each day provides us with opportunities to learn about ourselves and about our relationships with others as we practice living together in a conscious manner. What are the intentions of Starwalkers as we come to live together? What are some of the foundations of the group process? Click here to read more.

Sites

The Starwalkers community is located in three different sites – in and near the town of Northfield, Minnesota. Two of the sites are living sites and the other is a working site. Click here to read more.
