Finding Your Soul Image

Soul Image is that image that represents the deepest layers of our psyche, those layers forgotten, repressed, hidden, rejected.

The Image is a metaphor, an object, that has both literal and figurative meaning. There is meaning intrinsic to the image, which sheds light on its meaning in the person’s life.

The retreat begins on a Thursday evening, when participants prepare a meal and eat together, and the process of the workshop is discussed.
On Friday, participants use dreams, mining memories, guided imagining and forms of creative expression to intuitively and cognitively recognize and identify each person’s Soul Image.

On Saturday, participants help each other uncover the literal and figurative meaning of each Image—its history and progression through time, its associations, its appearance in a variety of forms such as literature, and its place in the context of the participants’ lives.

On Sunday, participants enact the Soul Image, bring it to physical life and physically enter the image, to understand the significance of the Image to their soul awakening and transformation.

Notebooks and other materials are provided.

Participants should bring dream journals or other records, or visual work that is relevant to the workshop topic.

Cost of the retreat includes room, board, tuition, and materials - $325
