Sept 19 - 21, 2008
Desire guides us all our life—from erotic attraction, to the work we love, even our spiritual yearning.
So powerful and personal is this force of desire that mystical poets, myths from around the world, and Jungian psychology have depicted it in human form: as the archetypal Beloved, guide to the soul.
One of the most powerful and passionate ways we awaken the inner Beloved is by falling in love. For this special retreat, we invite couples who have a strong and loving relationship to explore the soul’s Beloved in your partner and in your own heart.
In this workshop, we will:
- Explore how love for our partner leads us to the inner Beloved
- Pierce the veils of unspoken expectations that we have of our partner and recognize how we tap our inner resources to meet some of those needs
- Learn to see our loved one with new eyes, reawakening the mystery of who they are
- Identify and move past obstacles that hold us back from following the invitation of our Inner Beloved and discover how to support our partner in his or her own quest for meaning, passion, and joy

He taught art and exhibited his prints widely until he refocused his attention on the crafts that were his early passion. A lover of the outdoors, Andy gardens, backpacks, and has participated in two vision quests. He is married to Trebbe Johnson. www.willowork.com
