March 7-9, 2008
(Please arrive by 7:30pm, Friday March 7. The workshop will conclude at 4pm Sunday, March 9.)
Learn what is possible, rather than what is missing, because you are single. Discover how to build relationships to satisfy those human needs that a spouse or partner and children would otherwise provide. Understand yourself and your direction in life in order to clarify what you are looking for in a life partner. The Power of Being Single is for adults of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations. It is for those who have not yet found that certain someone, or who have recently lost the love of their life, or for those happy being single - who look for stronger affirmations for a single lifestyle.
In this workshop we will:
- Explore dreams as a method of exploring the self
- Share stories and insights about relationships past, present, and future
- Identify and clarify our human needs as they relate to our relationships with ourselves and others
- Create art together
- Share in the preparation and eating of food while living in community
Cost: $300 - includes lodging and food
