Olivia Elliott
Olivia Elliott is an educator, actor, screenwriter, producer, and aspiring director. She was born and raised in Wisconsin, and graduated from the the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Pre-Law. After living in Korea, she moved to Amsterdam to pursue a Master‘s of Science in Sociology, Social Theory and Public Affairs at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. After obtaining her degree, she then moved to Rome, Italy to study a certificate to teach English, and then spent the next year in Lisbon, Portugal as a teacher. After she returned to the U.S., while simultaneously studying acting at the Denver Center of the Performing Arts, Olivia obtained a second Master’s of Arts in Linguistics and Education at the University of Colorado Denver. Two years ago, she wrote the screenplay, cast, produced, and starred in a feature of her own, Golden Branches. Her training in acting and her experience with writing and shooting her film brought Olivia to Los Angeles in January 2017 to pursue a career in the industry. |
Samantha Jackson
Samantha Jackson is a multifaceted artist, writer, producer, and experiential creator. She graduated from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Rhetoric and Writing. In 2012, she acquired a Big 12 National Championship with the Texas Women’s Rowing team. She worked an array of internships throughout college including, Texas 4000, a long-standing branch of Livestrong, that raises money for cancer over a 4500 mile bike ride from Austin, Texas to Anchorage, Alaska. Her time there was spent curating Texas 4000’s media platforms and planning their 10-year anniversary of the ride. She also produced commercials and short films part-time for Escape Plan Productions as a Line Producer. In 2017, Samantha moved to Los Angeles to be a writer, curating content for a local women’s organization called Jig+Saw and working on a number of Television productions. |
Alberto Rossi
Alberto Rossi went on to study motion graphics and VFX at Barcelona 3DFX School and then art direction at IED in Milan, Italy, after completing a BA in Multimedia Design. He has experience working in the last 7 yrs as a motion designer, filmmaker, VFX generalist, producer, sound designer, and digital art director. Currently, he is working on developing Starwalkers’ branding, logo, and trailer. He will also be joining us on the trail for aerial shooting, photography, and possibly more. |
Barbara Cohen
Barbara Cohen is an accomplished composer, multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter and producer whose work expertly embraces a variety of musical genres—from folk to trip-hop, electronica, world and modern-classical music. Her career as a recording artist includes co-founding the Virgin Records’ band, Brother Sun, Sister Moon, collaborating with England’s rave luminaries, Orbital, singing lead vocals for the French experimental duo, Air, as well as releasing several critically acclaimed solo albums. Recognized in the industry for both her scoring and songwriting talent as well as her rich vocals, her awards include admittance to the prestigious Sundance Film Composer Lab Fellowship, BMI Conducting Workshop, the Minnesota State Arts Board Fellowship Grant for Artistry and Composition and the Minnesota Music Awards for Artist of the Year & Vocalist of the Year. She will be our composer for the trailer and the tv series. |
Stephanie Georgieff
Stephanie Georgieff is an author, teacher and natural health care provider with a focus on healing the whole person. She has given lectures and workshops in the USA, Canada, Europe, Russia and India. Her most recent book The Black Madonna, Mysterious Soul Companion was released in 2016, and she has published articles in Lilipoh, Mothering Magazine, The Macedonian Tribune and Perspectives. She has hosted radio programs and podcasts on nutrition and agriculture, as well as on the Divine Feminine. Her world travels and international experiences have given Georgieff a unique approach to contextualizing and healing the great challenges of our times. |
